The 5th Grade Water Fair (previously known as: the 4th Grade Water Fair) is a 2-day event hosted by Central Iron County Water Conservancy District where 5th graders from the Iron County School District attend to learn about water. The children visit different stations that teach about different aspects of water, including the water cycle, clouds, wildlife & water, water rights, irrigation, water conservation, etc. It is a fun time for all! We love teaching/learning with the children of this valley, as they are the future, and it is vital to learn the importance of water at a young age.

We appreciate the workshop presenters who make the Water Fair possible! The fair starts off with a bang as keynote speaker, Professor Wiggins from SUU, does water experiments for the students. We also get to hear from the Iron County 4-H, US Forest Service-Dixie, BLM, Division of Water Resources, Washington County Water Conservancy District, Division of Wildlife Resources, Utah Division of Water Rights, and Frontier Homestead State Park. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with our local youth!
